Inspired by Carolina Herrera‘s intimate bond with her cherished racehorse, Balaclava, and the warm, rule‑breaking sirocco wind, this scent captures the raw, elemental energy of the desert at sunset.

The fragrance unfolds with a striking mineral‑leather opening: black pepper, nutmeg and salt amplify the smoky‑leather accord, evoking the sensation of wind‑whipped sand and sun‑warmed tack. In the heart, sweet dates intertwine with precious saffron, the apricot‑leather softness of osmanthus and a discreet liquor note, which counterbalance the fiery spices with a touch of luscious, oriental richness. The dry‑down is a smoldering trail of benzoin, Akigalawood® (a spicy‑woody molecule), a final leather echo and smoke, leaving a deep, addictive and long‑lasting presence on the skin.
